Himalayan Shiraz red wine salt with its deep red colour and sweet wine aroma is a bold rock salt suited to red meats and pastas. As with all our salts this is an all-natural product – made from Australian Shiraz bottled wine.
The wine is heated, simmered and reduced to a thick syrup. The end result of this process is a significantly more intense red wine flavour concentrated in the reduced volume. We craft this salt to ensure the end result has maximum aroma, maximum colour depth and importantly it has a sharp rich taste for your food.
